Here’s the continuation of photos I took while walking through the beautiful Desert Botanical Garden! I definitely fell in love with desert plants. Who knew there were so many variations of the cactus!

I’m still obsessed with all things cactus five months later. I love that beauty can be found in land that’s often perceived as dry and barren. In my final Desert Botanical Garden post I’ll share photos from the herb garden. It was interesting to learn that very successful fruit and vegetable crops can be grown in the desert.
Thanks for stopping by!

I love botanical gardens! For our honeymoon, my husband and I, among other things, went to Zurich and saw the Sukkulenten-Sammlung. It was amazing.

I just looked up that garden, and it’s so cool that it started off as a collection of succulents. Seems like a really interesting place!

Lovely images, it’s easy to forget the variation you can get in what seems like the harshest of conditions

Thank you! I guess you are right because the desert can look pretty bland at first glance. I didn’t think about it that way!
